WGA Community Structure
The Administrator oversees the Council and is the final word on all decisions relating to the WGA. The Administrator also maintains the Teamspeak server and WGA forum; the Administrator is WGA-Polecatt
The Council is made up of five WGA members in good standing, appointed by the Administrator, who meet the age requirements outlined in the WGA general rules. The Council essentially runs the WGA and is responsible for the operations of the community, any disciplinary actions, and appointing WGA members to positions in the community. The Council also is responsible for the actions of the Officers in the service of the WGA: Council Assistant, Recruiter, Squad Commander, and Event Coordinator. When necessary the council will vote on issues with a majority rule to determine the outcome. As outlined in the rules, any appeals will be determined by the Administrator.
The Council Assistant(s) are appointed by the Council as needed and serve to assist the council in specific tasks as outlined. No age restriction exists, however the individual must be a WGA member in good standing.
The Recruiter is appointed by the Council to actively recruit and build the WGA ranks. The individual must be a WGA member in good standing and mature enough for the position; there is no age restriction for this position.
Squad Commanders are self appointed WGA members in good standing who, with Council approval, create competitive squads to compete or scrimmage in various game types. WGA Members who join the squad must follow any practice or meeting agendas outlined by their Squad Commander.
The Event Coordinator is a Council appointed position to the well qualified, organized, mature individual who will assist the Council in organizing any events, tournaments, meetings, or other activity. The Event Coordinator will also assist the various Squad Commanders with organizing and preparing for their various activities. This position is open to anyone the Council sees fit.
WGA Members are those individuals who have passed probation to become members of the WGA. WGA Members are eligible for WGA positions and vacant Council seats. WGA members are given member status in the forums and are registered in the Teamspeak server.
Probationary WGA Members are individuals who were invited or requested to join the WGA and are under observation before granting WGA Member status. These individuals are granted limited permissions in the forum and are allowed to register with the Teamspeak server.
Guests/Friends/Allies are associates of the WGA. These individuals are granted friend status in the forums and are allowed to register with the Teamspeak server.
WGA Community Rules
-
There will be absolutely NO Cheating or intentional glitching performed by any member of the WGA. Any person caught doing this will be suspended from the WGA until the Council determines the appropriate action. Accusing players of cheating or glitching will not be done openly in any game. If you feel someone is cheating, take a screen shot or FRAP of them in action and report it to your Council member(s) or Administrator. The Council will investigate and rule on the issue if appropriate.
-
The WGA has no preset age limit to join, however members under 18 need Council approval to join and must not be subjected to foul or inappropriate language. Minors are to be confined to language restricted Teamspeak channels unless a parent or guardian signs the WGA Teamspeak waiver. The minimum age limit for a member to hold a Council position is 18 year of age.
-
Fighting and arguing amongst fellow WGA members will not be tolerated-this includes accusations of cheating. Any occurrences will be dealt with swiftly and harshly. Reports of WGA members fighting or arguing in games will be investigated and actions will be taken to be assured they do not happen again. ALL WGA members should be treated with respect. If you feel that you are being treated unfavorably, private message or e-mail a complaint to a Council member or Administrator. Remember it's a game and we want to have fun-save the competitive spunk for non-WGA players (privately in Teamspeak only!)
-
Teamspeak use is for WGA members and their acquaintances only. To allow access to the WGA Teamspeak, members may give out the password provided prior authorization is given from a Council member or Administrator.
-
Anyone may join the WGA forum. Encourage friends and family to join and participate in the games area and forum chat. Forum prohibits excessive profanity or inappropriate images, posts, or signatures/avatars.
-
Individuals desiring to join the WGA, must register with the forums providing a complete profile with valid e-mail and at least one alternate form of contact (messenger, website, etc). A formal request should be posted in the forum under the Join the WGA section. Further instructions for these individuals are listed under the announcement area in the “New Member Request” topic. The Council or appointee will review the application and report to the council who will vote to grant probationary access. Probation will last for 15-90 days based on the Council’s discretion.
-
Every WGA member has the right to defend themselves in front of the Council on any issue they have been charged with; therefore, the Council may not make a final ruling on any WGA Member(s) without reasonable accommodation to hear their statements. Any decision by the Council may be appealed by the WGA Member(s) to the Administrator for review. The Administrator will review the issue with the Council and make a determination.
-
Council positions are chosen by the Administrator or by a vote when enough members have joined the WGA . Five seats are available to selected WGA members in good standing that meet the age requirement. Many other WGA positions are available to WGA members in good standing. Council members may hold other positions in the WGA provided these do not conflict with Council duties. The Council will provide a list of positions available to members.
-
The Administrator reserves the right to change, modify, revoke, or ban any WGA members rights, privileges, or position in the WGA. The Council is the primary governing body of the squad and will handle all decisions, discipline, and issues within the WGA. The Administrator supersedes the council in every matter related to the WGA.
-
WGA tags are required to be worn in all stat servers in all games unless server rules prohibit tags. The Council may rule on other exceptions to this rule. The official tag is as follows: WGA-(your nickname). No offensive or vulgar game names will be tolerated as these will violate most game EULA's.
